Compare the delivery with the confirmation
Keep the invoice and accepted order message nearby. Match each product name, pack size and quantity with the delivered items. If the supplier proposed a substitution, check that it was agreed before accepting it as part of the order.
Inspect the packs for visible damage, leakage or signs that a seal has been disturbed. Photograph a problem and retain the relevant packaging while contacting the seller. Follow the damaged-delivery or return process agreed for that particular order; do not assume every seller has the same policy.
